Each fall, the chapter offers a ten-week training program for individuals desiring certification as Texas Master Naturalists. The program

  • generally meets one evening a week and four Saturdays during September, October, and part of November;
  • offers stimulating and thought-provoking presentations by area scientists, professors, and other professionals;
  • provides the opportunity to meet and socialize with other like-minded amateur naturalists; and
  • includes field trips to area gardens, rivers, grasslands, and a local energy company’s environmental restoration site.

2012 Training details and schedule will be available soon. Feel free to attend one of our monthly meetings to find out more about us, or check here for more details on the training process and becoming a member.
