Statewide Fall Class Training

Texas Master Naturalist chapters offering volunteer training this fall are listed with contact information. Enrollment is limited in most chapters. Some registration deadlines are fast approaching so contact a chapter near you to see if seating is still available.

[accordion title=”Bonham—Bois d’Arc chapter”]

Training begins Sept. 3 through Nov. 19. The meetings will take place 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday evenings, plus two Saturday field trips on Sept. 20 and Oct. 18. The cost is $100. Our next training class will run Sept. 9 through Nov. 11. The meetings run from 6-9 p.m. on Tuesday evenings, plus five Saturday morning field trips. The cost of the class is $140. Training begins Sept. 6 and usually ends in December or January. Registration is due by Sept. 6 with no class limit. Classes will meet on Saturdays. First class is an introduction and sign up date. Registration papers will be distributed and a fee of $85 per student is required. Books and schedules will also be given to people who choose to register for the class. The deadline to apply is July 14. The course will run from Aug. 18 to Nov. 12.  The majority of classes will be at Texas Lions Camp in Kerrville on Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. This year’s class will also tour and explore the Fredericksburg Nature Center; Selah, Bamberger Ranch Preserve; Riverside Nature Center; Canyon Lake Gorge; Kerr Wildlife Management Area; Love Creek Preserve; and Cibolo Nature Center and Farm.  Contact Becky Etzler, hillcountrymasternaturalist@gmail.com, membership director, for further information.  Chapter website: http://txmn.org/hillcountry.
