VOL- Native Prairie Plant-a-thon

Volunteers are needed to plant 2,500 native coastal prairie grasses and forbs.  This event will help the park continue the restoration of 400 acres from farmland to native prairie habitat and reestablish the diverse wildlife that it once had.   Sheldon Lake State Park & Environmental Learning Center is visited by thousands of children and adults each year.
