Next Class Begins February 4

The next training session to become a Texas Master Naturalist begins Saturday, February 4, at 9 am.  The remaining are held on Monday evenings starting February 6 from 6-9 pm at the Winedale Historical Center.  There are some field trips (on Saturdays) included in the training session.  The class schedule is as follows:

In addition to completing the training sessions, you must complete 40 hours of volunteer service and an additional 8 hours of advanced training to become a certified master naturalist.

The tuition and membership fee is $150 for an individual and $250 for couples if sharing the text.  Class size will be limited to 25 members.

When classes begin, we will be required by the state to do a background check and you will be asked to sign a liability release and a photo release.
