2017 Spring Training Class Online Application

Classes Start – March 7, 2017

Apply only if you will be able to attend 14 classes mostly on Tuesday afternoons from 1:00-5:00 P.M. Classes will be held at the Williamson County AgriLife Extension Meeting Room, 3151 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown,Texas. We have attempted to schedule most of the classes on Tuesdays, but some will be on a Saturday.  Please check the training agenda to determine which classes are held on different days and plan your schedule according.  Missed classes must be made up.  Do not apply if you will miss more than two classes!  Some classes are held at field sites and require moderate walking.  You must also submit and pass a criminal background check to attend the class.  The background form is attached to this application.  We will take the first 30 applicants.

Cost for the class is $150.00 per person. A husband and wife (or significant other) combination will be offered a combined discount of $30 if they elect to receive only one Master Naturalist Manual per couple.

A 100% refund will be granted to anyone who elects to withdraw from the program before the start of the first class.

Please fill out all fields to register for the 2017 Good Water Master Naturalist Spring Training Class.   Please note: Registration is not complete until payment has been received either by Paypal or check and the AgriLife Criminal Background Check has been turned in.
  • List any special skills or knowledge that you have acquired from employment, previous volunteer work, or other activities, including hobbies and education that could benefit our chapter. These do not have to be nature related - examples include wood working, computer skills and graphic design.
  • Please fill out this form again for the 2nd person planning to take the class.

  • By submitting this application, I understand that if I am accepted for the training class, I will be expected to complete the training class program for the Certificate of Graduation. Then, in order to achieve my Initial Certification as a Master Naturalist, I will be expected to contribute a minimum of 40 hours of approved Master Naturalist volunteer work, and I will also further my knowledge by completing at least 8 hours of approved advanced educational training within a one year period of the completion of the class.
