Now that the temperatures are more reasonable for hiking, it’s time to get going on the wildlife observations at the Gault site. We will be taking pictures of flora and fauna which will be posted on iNaturalist.org and used for future site development.
The first meeting will be on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 8:30-11:30 AM at the Gault site 3433 FM 2843. Wear walking shoes and comfortable walking clothes appropriate for daily weather conditions. Bring water, bug spray, camera.
Tonja Hamel metotx@gmail.com is the project leader. Email her for detailed directions to the site, and to let her know you are coming. If you need a ride, she has room for 3 more people in her car. She is open to teaching anyone who hasn’t used iNaturalist how to navigate it.
All questions should be addressed to Tonja at metotx@gmail.com
