Great Backyard Bird Count

The Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC) is a free, fun, and easy event that engages bird watchers of all ages in counting birds to create a real-time snapshot of bird populations. Participants are asked to count birds for as little as 15 minutes (or as long as they wish) on one or more days of the four-day event and report their sightings online at birdcount.org. Bluebird Nest Watch Workday

Christie Gardner,the project leader of the Eastern Bluebird Nestwatch at Berry Springs Park in Georgetown, needs your help. She needs people that have building skills to help with a couple of birdhouses that are a little dilapidated.  She also needs some muscle to help relocate one of the houses. Work Morning at Berry Springs Nature Trail

We accomplished a lot of work on the trail before the work day on the 16th but there is still work to be done. We have rescheduled the work morning for Fri. Jan. 27th 8:30am till noon.
