Classes for Master Naturalist Training start in October each year. Forms are available for applying to the upcoming class in the forms area. Classes consist of 12 classes throughout the year, with graduation the following October. The classes are curriculum based, with interesting speakers. It is recommended that you be placed on a waiting list, so you will be considered early for the class, OR complete the application form in the “Forms” section of the website and forward it on. To certify each year (January-December) 40 volunteer hours are required,along with 8 hours of Advanced Training . These hours consist of classes, seminars, etc. that are readily available through the year, and posted by e-mail to members. There is an approval process for ATH(Advanced Training Hours) and VH ((volunteer hours) if a project is not already approved. There is a form that can be downloaded and completed in the forms area of the website.
IN ORDER TO CERTIFY, YOU MUST REPORT YOUR HOURS!!!!
