Below you will find the criminal background check authorization form. Please fill this out and submit it with your application. The background check costs $10. The $10 is due with the general application and authorization form. This is for everybody!
If you anticipate volunteering with youth (leading hikes, doing programs, etc.) you will need to read the other form as well.
The Texas AgriLife Extension Youth Protection Standards require that Texas Master Naturalists who will work directly with youth must be screened and qualified in advance through the YPS program. For the conveniece of Sabine-Neches Chapter Master Naturalists who will be involved in direct contact with youth, the required form and pertinent rules and guidelines are provided here to download and print. This requirement pertains only to those Master Naturalists who will be working directly with youth during their volunteer activities.
