Volunteering is a fun way to learn about the ecology of an area. The Texas Master Naturalist program supports volunteerism, and is dedicated to developing a corps of well-trained volunteers to help with local resource management projects. This is why 40 hours of volunteer service are required each year to maintain status as a Texas Master Naturalist.
