AT – BPTMN & TPWD Sam Kieschnick Mothing Event with Plano Parks Outdoor Education Classes

BPTMN Members:

The City of Plano Parks and Recreation Department is offering a variety of outdoor education classes this summer, all of which are led by members of the Blackland Prairie Master Naturalist Chapter!  Some of the classes are already full!  So, if you want to participate in any of the open classes (listed below), better enroll ASAP!

Program:  City of Plano Recreation Activities – Summer 2023

Description:  The activities below are offered by the City of Plano Parks and Recreation Department.  These outdoor classes are led by various Blackland Prairie Master Naturalist members. All of classes have been approved for AT.

Cost:  Free

Enroll:  After you create an account or sign-in to your account, you will be able to enroll online.  You can also enroll by phone at 972-941-7540.

Dress:  Routine dress code for activity in the field: Long-pants, boots/close-toed shoes; long-sleeved shirts are recommended  as well as other attire appropriate for the weather.  Master Naturalists should wear their name badges.

Bring:  Drinking water, sunscreen, insect repellant

Logging AT:  Approved for AT for length of class to be logged as: AT: BPTMN: Other Pre-Approved Training with title of program and name of speaker in the training description box.
