July 25 Tree Walk:

(AT) Frisco Tree Walk: A walking tour of a riparian woodland area, sponsored by the Frisco Urban Forestry Board and Natural Resources Department.

When: Saturday, July 25, at 9am-10:30am.

Attendees will learn about key native (and invasive) trees that grow in north Texas, and the value of riparian woodlands for wildlife habitat, species diversification, pollution mitigation, and other benefits.

The walk is along Caddo Trail. Park in the westside parking area of Otis Spears Elementary, next to the trail head and JC Grant Park (8500 Wade Blvd Frisco:  https://www.goo gle.com/maps/place/Otis+Spears+Elementary+School/@33.1305344,-96.8126183,17.25z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x864c3c664104a9c1:0xa6427bb02a8bc62b!8m2!3d33.1304106!4d-96.8101292)

Meet in the open area next to the parking lot.
Wear comfortable walking shoes, dress for the weather, bring water.
