October 24 Tree Walk:

(AT) Frisco Tree Walk: A walking tour of a riparian woodland area, sponsored by Frisco Urban Forestry Board and Natural Resources Department.

When: Saturday, October 24, at 9:00-10:30am. (The tree walk be begin immediately after a short “Arborfest” event tree planting ceremony).

Attendees will learn about key native (and invasive) trees that grow in north Texas, and the value of riparian woodlands for wildlife habitat, species diversification, pollution mitigation, and other benefits.

The walk is at Frisco Commons Park (8000 McKinney Road, Frisco:https://www.google.com/maps/place/Frisco+Commons+Park/@33.1540582,-96.8164961,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x864c3c187efc6b3f:0x8d7fcbd5f9343ff3!8m2!3d33.1540537!4d-96.8143074).
