Tree Walk:

Frisco Tree Walk: A walking tour of a riparian woodland area, sponsored by the Frisco Urban Forestry Board and Natural Resources Department.

When: Saturday, April 4, at 9am-10:30am.

Attendees will learn about key native (and invasive) trees that grow in north Texas, and the value of riparian woodlands for wildlife habitat, species diversification, pollution mitigation, and other benefits.

The walk is at Frisco Commons Park (8000 McKinney Road, Frisco: https://www.google.com/maps/place/Frisco+Commons+Park/@33.1540582,-96.8164961,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x864c3c187efc6b3f:0x8d7fcbd5f9343ff3!8m2!3d33.1540537!4d-96.8143074).

Meet in front of the main pavilion.
Wear comfortable walking shoes, dress for the weather, bring water.
