Grab your binoculars and camera, put on your walking shoes, and head to Connemara Meadow Preserve on Sunday, September 5. Guided bird walks are back!
Program: Guided Bird Walks
Date: Sunday, September 5, 2021
Time: 7:30 AM
Description: Birders of all skill levels are welcome to participate in this free activity. A variety of birding habitats will be explored. Four guided bird walks have been scheduled at Connemara Meadow for Fall 2021: Sunday, September 5; Saturday, October 2; Sunday, November 7; and Saturday, December 4
Location: Connemara Meadow Preserve – Allen, TX
Drive to the South Gate behind the intersection of Bass Drive and Roberta Drive in Plano. Driving Directions
Parking: Park on the grass lot.
Dress: Routine dress code for activities in the field: Long-pants, boots/close-toed shoes; long-sleeved shirts; and hats are recommended. Master Naturalists should wear their name badges.
Bring: Drinking water, sunscreen, insect repellant
Logging AT: This activity has been pre-approved for the time spent during the walk and should be logged as BPTMN: Other Pre-Approved Training with the “Connemara Bird Walk” in the description box.
