The Heard Museum is sponsoring a night hike later this month. This is a treat and if you want to participate, I recommend you register now!
Program: Night Hike at the Heard Museum
Date: Saturday, January 28, 2023
Time: 6:00 PM
Location: Heard Museum, 1 Nature Place, McKinney TX 75069
Description: Explore the thrilling sights, smells, and sounds of night with Heard Trail Guides. Night hikers will be encouraged to sharpen their senses to be able to spot signs of animal life and learn more about the inhabitants of the Heard.

Meet at: All Night Hikes depart from the Main Building
Dress: Routine dress code for activity in the field: Long-pants, boots/close-toed shoes; long-sleeved shirts are recommended. Master Naturalists should wear their name badges.
Bring: Bug spray is recommended. You may bring a flashlight; however, it must have a red lens (or red film covering the lens) on it to protect your night vision (and the night vision of guests around you) while looking for nocturnal animals! Head lamps are not permitted.
