AT IN-PERSON Star Party at Austin College Adams Observatory
September 16 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Hey Master Naturalists!
Remember the June 2022 chapter meeting? If not, let me jog your memory. Our guest speaker that evening was Dr. David Baker, Director of the Adams Observatory at Austin College in Sherman. Dr. Baker’s presentation was entitled “The Search for Another Earth and an Opportunity to Save Our Own.” He started with a look at our greater solar system and ended with a sobering but hopeful talk on climate change here on planet earth. At the end of his talk, he issued an invitation for BPTMN Chapter members to attend the next Star Party at Austin College’s Adams Observatory. This is that invitation!
