AT ONLINE What is a Conservation Easement

July 28 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Hey Master Naturalists!

Wild at Work: A Stewardship Series is a new webinar series from Texas Wildlife Association which covers all things wildlife and land stewardship. These quarterly seminars will feature a variety of guest speakers to address topics of interest for stewards of our open spaces and native species. These free webinars, held during the work week at noon, are a perfect way to learn during your lunch break.

Program:   What is a Conservation Easement?

Speaker:  Brittany Wegner

Description:  In this episode, we’re answering a question asked by many Texas landowners: What is a Conservation Easement? Brittany Wegner of the Texas A&M Natural Resources Institute will cover the basics of conservation easements and share her own experience as a landowner with a CE property. Also joining us will be Mr. Howard Hicks, Brittany’s grandfather and 5th generation rancher and owner of the Pike Davis Ranch, with further insights on the CE process. Tune in live to participate in the Q&A at the end!
