Description: Join the Blackland Chapter of Native Prairies Association of Texas to explore the unique ecology of the limestone prairie at Spring Creek Park Preserve! Dana Wilson will share her knowledge and guide us through this site.
Cost: Free
Meet at: Meet at the rectangular parking lot on the west side of Holford Rd, between the President George Bush Highway and Arapaho Road. This is across the street from the Forest area. There is a sign that will say “Spring Creek Park Preserve.”
Dress: Routine dress code for activity in the field: Long-pants, boots/close-toed shoes; long-sleeved shirts are recommended as well as other attire appropriate for the weather. Master Naturalists should wear their name badges.
Bring: Drinking water, sunscreen, insect repellant
