Event: Clymer Meadow Seed Harvesting
Date: Monday, August 30, 2021
Time: 8:00 AM
Work Plan: Volunteers are needed to harvest seed for use at the Blackland Prairie Raptor Center. This is a great opportunity to involve individuals from multiple projects and partners, working together, towards a common goal of restoration and preservation of native prairies within our chapter geographic area. The additional seed that is harvested will be beneficial to the Raptor Center and will assist their efforts to restore and reclaim some of the diminishing native prairie.
Keep in mind that seed gathering allows for plenty of social distancing and it is a great chance to say hello to some people you may not have seen for a while.
