(VH) Frisco Parks Department “2nd Saturday Service Day”
November 14 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
When: Saturday, November 14 9am-11am
Using the app, iNaturalist, we will meet at Limestone Quarry Park and identify as many plant and animal species as we can in the park and along Taychas Trail. This data is important for scientists and our community because it provides us with a snapshot of the plants and wildlife in the area.
*Please download iNaturalist on your mobile device and create an account before the event. *
We’ll meet at Limestone Quarry Park (6300 Maltby Drive, Frisco: https://www.google.com/maps/place/33%C2%B007’49.0%22N+96%C2%B044’26.7%22Wemail@example.com,-96.7413974,18.25z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x0!8m2!3d33.1302759!4d-96.7407478?hl=en)
Bring your phone with the iNaturalist app installed, wear good walking shoes, and bring water with you.
Frisco Parks Natural Resources Dept. staff (and BPTMN members) Tom Diamond, Molly Kinson, and/or Jessica Waldrup will be on-site.
You can register for this service day at https://www.eventbrite.com/o/play-frisco-natural-resources-28876827665. Registering helps the Natural Resources Department know how many bags and tools to bring to these workdays.
