Event: Plano Heritage Farmstead prairie garden work days.

Date: Saturday, March 14 and April 11

Time: 9:00 am – 11:00 am

Work Plan:  clean garden beds, weeding, pruning, getting the garden ready for spring

Meet at: the side garden gate on Garden Grove Ct, Plano

Dress:  dress for the weather, mud boots, plan to get sweaty and dirty

Bring: water, gloves and small tools

The Heritage Farmstead Museum (HFM) is the premiere living history site interpreting the Texas Blackland Prairie region in North Texas. An American Association of Museums accredited institution, the HFM strives to offer unique encounters with objects and ideas for people of many ages, interests and backgrounds. Come tour this living, 4.5 acre piece of history and see what life was like on the Blackland Prairie.
