(VH) Wylie Prairie Restoration

Dave is planning a workday with plenty of time for observations of the restoration project.
Meet: He will meet on the far northeast corner of the parking lot in front of the Wylie Library.
Time: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
Date: February 29, 2020
Project: Prairie restoration in open space in front of and behind the Wylie Library.
Location: 300 Country Club Road, Wylie, TX 75089. Map
Volunteer Opportunities: Litter removal; removing small trees in the prairie and the motts; gathering/relocating grass and flower seed; educational opportunities for schools, scouts, etc; domcumenting flora and fauna.
Wear: Dress for the weather. Long sleeve shirts and pants, mud boots or hiking shoes.
Bring: Water, gloves, small hand tools, bags for trash collection, loppers. Also bring your smart phone or camera for opportunites to take picuidentify the flora and fauna on the prairie.
