AT: Canyon Lake Gorge field trip

April 7, 2019 @ 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM

NOTE: REGISTRATION FOR THIS TRIP IS FULL.
Our next Chapter field trip will be on Sunday, April 7, to Canyon Lake Gorge. This is an educational hiking tour through the Canyon Lake Gorge — get ready to learn about the power of water and the geology of the Texas Hill Country (https://www.canyongorge.org/). We will meet our tour guide at the base of the gorge at 1pm, hop on a shuttle to the top of the gorge, and take a guided hike back to our cars. This field trip will be eligible for about 3 hours of advanced training. The tour costs $10 per person and is open to Master Naturalist members and their friends and families — please note that children under 7 years old will not be allowed in the gorge and pets are not allowed. A BVMN member has offered to cover the cost of the trip for another member, so please email me regarding financial assistance.
Canyon Lake Gorge is about a 2.5 hour drive from College Station. Members will be encouraged to meet at the BRTC to carpool to the field trip location, but are also welcome to drive themselves and meet us (just don’t be late!)
REGISTER HERE: [NOTE: ALL 23 SLOTS FOR THIS TRIP ARE FULL. If you fill out the below form, you will be put on a waiting list and will be notified if a spot opens up.]
