Brazos River fossil bed field trip

Time: 7:30 AM – to whenever it gets too hot!
Where: Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History, we will meet here and all drive out together
Important items: Water, sunscreen, hat, bug spray, and more water. Hope to see everybody out there!
Anyone who would like to collect some shells should bring a ordinary garden trowel and a bucket or bag—it’s legal unless you get REALLY lucky and find a mammoth bone on your way down to the river bank! Children must be under direct supervision I would not recommend bringing any children under 7 years old. Remember that getting down to the river requires a bit of sliding, scuttling or minor climbing and could be too much of a challenge for handicapped people.
