Fellow Naturalists, It's been a long time since we've worked at the BRTC, and there are weeds to pull and pruning to do. January 4 we will begin work on the kiosk garden at Lick Creek Park by digging out excess plants and preparing the beds for new plantings. Work schedule is 9AM to noon. Bring shovels, rakes, hatchets or axes, pruners, work gloves, drinking water.

Class of 2019 Project work day January 25 we will work with our new members to clean up the Jay Pritchard Trail at the Brazos Center. 8AM to noon. Bring saws, pruners, shovels, rakes, work gloves, drinking water.

The Native Plant Society of Texas will be showing the film "The Value of Having Native Plants in Our Yards" from Douglas Tallamy at the Brazos Valley Natural History Museum. The screening has been cancelled. It will hopefully be rescheduled in the near future.
