AT: Chapter Program: Local Edible and Medicinal Plants – an introduction by Erik Wolf

Are you tired of fighting clover in your yard? You know you can eat the leaves and make a sweet tea from the flowers. Did you get bitten by a mosquito? Rub crushed plantain leaves on the bite to relieve pain and itching. Need a dose of Vitamin C? Make an easy tea from fresh pine needles.
Come out and learn about these local plants and many others as Texas Master Naturalist Member Erik Wolf introduces you to some of the edible and medicinal plants of our area.
MEETING LOCATION!! Click Rosenberg Civic Center below for the map of 3825 TX-36, Rosenberg, TX 77471. Come hear an expert speak about a timely topic at 7 p.m. The meeting will be preceded by a social time and snacks at 6:00 p.m., a special 30 minute chapter informational program, then our speaker. Around 8:00pm, we will have a short chapter general business meeting.
The meeting is free and open to all interested persons.
