AT: “Controlling Light Pollution in the Age of LED”

FreeOur speaker will be Debbie Moran. Debbie is a long time member of the Houston Astronomical Society, the International Dark Sky Association, and a Volunteer at the George Observatory. She has been a strong lobbyist for reducing light pollution in the greater Houston area.
he presentation will touch on the impact of light pollution on:
Humans
Wildlife
Environment
The presentation will also touch on actions that individuals can take to help reduce light pollution.
The meeting will last about 1 hour.
