AT: Nature to the Rescue – Greater Houston’s Best Chances to Save, Restore, and Connect Landscapes for Biodiversity and Resilience.

July 28, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

FREE

Save the date – Tuesday, July 28 – 6:00 pm – for FBMG’s first online Continuing Education Program. Jaime Gonzalez, Houston Healthy Cities Programs Director with The Nature Conservancy of Texas, will present

The Greater Houston region sports world class biodiversity and ecosystems. Yet, rapid regional growth, invasive species, climate change, and other forces pose severe challenges to saving the best of what’s left. Join conservation biologist and environmental educator Jaime González of The Nature Conservancy in Texas and learn about how local, state, and international groups are and can work together to supersize nature conservation and restoration for the benefit of people and nature in the next 10 years.

This program will take place via Zoom. The program will last an hour, and include a question and answer session.

You will receive an email on the 28th containing a link and a password to use to join the meeting. We’ve invited the Coastal Prairie Chapter of the Texas Master Naturalists to attend. Jaime can accommodate all of us, but there is a limit as to how many people can attend. The program will be recorded and made available online for later viewing.

We ask that you not share the link for the program with anyone outside of the Master Gardener and Master Naturalist group.
