Della Barbato has served as NPAT’s Director of Education at the 50+ acre Lawther-Deer Park Prairie, since April 2018.

She facilitates student and adult prairie programs, workshops and field trips for K-9 at schools, organizations, and on site at Deer Park Prairie and other prairies.  A Master Naturalist herself, she trains teachers and Texas Master Naturalists. She also collaborates with many other environmental organizations in the Houston area.  She developed a Prairie Learning Trunk and other activities for her Prairie Programs.
