AT: ONLINE, NPCA Park Talk: A Clear Solution: Reducing Haze at our Texas Parks

January 6, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Free

Details

The National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) Park Talk series is a way for park advocates to stay informed and engaged in the most important issues facing America’s national parks.

One of those issues is air pollution, which impacts almost 90% of our national parks. At parks such as BIG BEND and GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS, this pollution obstructs awe-inspiring views of geological wonders and prevents crystal clear night skies.

Fortunately, Texans can act! State agencies are in the process of updating pollution controls and need to hear from you about the importance of air quality for our parks, our landscapes and our health. Join us on January 6 to learn more!

WHEN: Wednesday, January 6, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. EDT (12 – 1 p.m. Central)

WHERE: Zoom link will be provided by email when you RSVP to register
