The goal of the TOPP is to gather observational data on what plants are most attractive to bees and other pollinators. Based on your observations, we hope to provide Texas gardeners and naturalists with observation-based, local data to be used for regional fact sheets, and for efforts to conserve our important pollinator species.
The class will briefly review the purpose of the project, how to enter data, and some basic information about the behavior and recognition of flower pollinating insects.
