Join us in reaching out to the community every 2nd and 4th Saturday at the Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugar Land. Share your knowledge of nature in a beautiful setting with families and kids at the museum.
May-Picky Pollinators ( Planting Native for Pollinators)5/10/25 and 5/24/25

- Native Plant WOW/Butterfly WOW/Native Bee WOW
- Learn how planting native helps support our native pollinators
- Learn about some native plants/bees in our area
- Learn how to create a wildflower habitat for picky pollinators.
- Bee pollination activity with Cheetos
We will have two shifts per Saturday-the morning shift from 10:30-1:00 and the afternoon shift from 1:00-3:30. We are asking that 2 people sign up per shift to assist the lead with outreach. Additionally, we have a new slot this year for a backup volunteer and/or members who would like to observe or be trained on the topic or the respective WOW presentation.
