Join us in reaching out to the community every 2nd and 4th Saturday at the Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugar Land.  Share your knowledge of nature in a beautiful setting with families and kids at the museum.

Co-Leads-Katie Sallean, Sharon Watson, Pam Jackson

  • Native Plant WOW/Butterfly WOW/Native Bee WOW
    • Learn how planting native helps support our native pollinators
    • Learn about some native plants/bees in our area
    • Learn how to create a wildflower habitat for picky pollinators.

We will have two shifts per Saturday-the morning shift from 10:30-1:00 and the afternoon shift from 1:00-3:30.  We are asking that 2 people sign up per shift to assist the lead with outreach.  Additionally, we have a new slot this year for a backup volunteer and/or members who would like to observe or be trained on the topic or the respective WOW presentation.

Questions?  Contact Katie Sallean or Jamie Fairchild. Look for the SignUp Genius pinned to the #vsp channel in Slack or on Tuesday’s emailed Weekly Bulletin.
