This is an event to count the amazing Chimney Swifts that roost in chimneys prior to undertaking their fall migration to South America! While wearing masks and socially distancing, meet fellow bird enthusiasts.
Join Houston Audubon for this family-friendly Swift Night Out event. Help count the number of Chimney Swifts migrating through the Houston area. Watch Chimney Swifts swoop and soar over their roosts and count them as they enter their chimneys. There can be over 500 Chimney Swifts in some locations at this time of year.
