June 20 @ 8:45 am - 12:00 pm

Join fellow Master Naturalists from the Gulf Coast Chapter and participate in Pollinator Week.

You will need to join Pollinator week project to have observations included and to be
able to count it as volunteer hours (if you participate in the mothing event at Shannon’s you should already be registered).

From: Rich Sommer, Gulf Coast Chapter:

Meet in front of the wetland at the front of the Houston Arboretum nature center at 8:45am. Feel free to arrive early, there are a lot of great wildflowers on the path at the front. Note parking is free on Thursdays (bonus!).Park in this lot, which is right off the 610 service Road:120 W Loop N Houston, TX 77024

We will move as a loose group from the nature center to the Woodway North and South Ponds. And work our way south to Meadow Pond. I may be hunting for a few hours, so feel free to come and go as you want. It is bound to be hot, be sure to bring some water and maybe a snack.

Please already have an iNaturalist account. If you need assistance with using iNaturalist, I can help you better now, before the event. Feel free to contact me and I will be happy to help you learn about this wonderful tool. Happy hunting wherever your feet are taking you!
Rich’s contact info can be found on Slack in the VSP channel.
