VSP: 2nd Annual James B. Harrison Long Point Spring Bird Count

Birders of all levels are welcome to join on a hike around the property to survey birds for the 2nd Annual JBH Long Point Spring Bird Count. During the 1st Spring Bird Count in April 2019, 62 species were recorded. The JBH property is renown among local birders and its Bald Cypress Ponds. The JBH Long Point Ranch boasts its very own Great Kiskadee nest.

The following COVID-19 TMN Guidelines must be adhered to at all times:

  • “For any indoor activity that does occur in-person, both volunteers and public participants must wear masks. The occupancy limit shall not exceed one person per 100 square feet of indoor public space to allow for 10 feet of social distance.
  • For outdoor activities, both volunteers and public participants must wear masks and social distance by at least 6 feet.”
