VSP: Great Texas Birding Classic – “Big Sit!”
How many birds can you spot from within a 50′ circle during a fall migration? Join us and find out! The TMNCPC members and friends will keep a tally of all the various birds seen and heard at Seabourne Creek Nature Park on Sunday, 10/25/2020, from 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM.
COVID-19 Precautions: To comply with State and Fort Bend County mandates, we’ll limit visitors in the 50′ area to comply with social/physically distancing mandates. Volunteers will help to rotate visitors in and out of the viewing area. Please wear a mask if/when you cannot momentarily social/physical distance. Limit gathering to < 50 people
Who: You and your family! All ages and skill levels are welcome.
What: A “Big Sit” is a stationary birdwatching activity where birders see how many different kinds of birds they can spot from within a 50′ circle. Join our team, the TMNCPC, and count birds along with us!
Where: We’ll be hosting our Big Sit at Seabourne Creek Nature Park.
