Join the Houston Audubon for a morning of gardening and sanctuary maintenance! This is a great way to enjoy the outdoors and help in the community! Volunteer services can include trail maintenance, filling bird feeders and baths, litter pick-up, native gardening, and invasive species removal.
Who: Adults and Children – children of any age are welcome with their parent/chaperone. Minimum age without a parent/chaperone is 14 years of age.
When: 2nd Saturday of the month, 8:00 AM CST – 12:00 PM CST, September through May
Where: Houston Audubon Raptor and Education Center at Sims Bayou @ 3997 River Drive Houston TX 77017
What to take/wear to this event: Water, sunscreen, bug repellent, gloves, closed-toe shoes, and long pants. If desired, have a sack lunch.
Houston Audubon will ensure social distancing is maintained and current public health advisement is adhered. It asks volunteers take an active role in these efforts.
