VSP Planning Meeting for Attwater Prairie Chicken Boomin’ and Bloomin’ Festival

Attend planning meeting for a TMN role at Attwater Prairie Chicken Boomin’ and Bloomin’ Festival (scheduled for April 5th & 6th)
Meeting location: In the the new facility at Attwater Prairie Chicken NWR, 1206 APC NWR Road, Eagle Lake,TX77434Blurb: April 5th and 6th, the refuge will be hosting the 27th annual “Boomin’ and Bloomin’ Festival” with Attwater Prairie Chicken viewing, guided nature walks and refuge tours provided by trained individuals, discovery stations, and the Native American dance team. Wildlife Refuge Specialist, Jaide Cooper, who is leading the festival activities has requested the help of TMN to lead a planting event to help restore the pollinator garden. Jaide is sourcing the plants and envisions visitors of the day getting their hands dirty planting with the guidance of TMN helpers. You are invited to the planning meeting on February 15, see the new facility and pollinator garden, and help determine TMN’s role at the Boomin and Blooming Festival.
