VSP: Rosenberg’s Non-Profit Awareness Day

The Rosenberg Development Corporation, in partnership with the city of Rosenberg, is hosting their first Non-Profit Awareness Day on Thursday, June 20 from 4-7 p.m. at the Rosenberg Civic Center, 3825 Highway 36 South. Our chapter will staff a booth to promote our upcoming training class and the Seabourne Creek Nature Fest.  All positions have been filled.

This free, family friendly event is designed to showcase and highlight non-profit organizations that provide services within the city of Rosenberg. Stop by and visit with local non-profits to learn about ways you can make a difference and give back to your community through various volunteer opportunities. Event attendees will also have a chance to hear about the non-profits’ individual missions and resources available to the community.

Other registered exhibitors to date include the Better Business Bureau, Brazos Bend Guardianship Services, Catholic Charities, Disabled American Veterans Fort Bend, Doing Our Part, Fort Bend History Association, Fort Bend Hope, Fort Bend Seniors Meals on Wheels, Reining Strength Therapeutic Horsemanship, Richmond/Rosenberg Boys and Girls Club, Rosenberg Police Explorers, Rosenberg Railroad Museum, Saving our Companion Animals and The Arc of Fort Bend County plus the Rosenberg Animal Control and Shelter will be on site offering pet adoptions.
