2019 Sugar Land Earth Day Celebration
“Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Rock” will be held Saturday April 13, from 1 pm to 5 pm, on the Plaza at Sugar Land Town Square. “Bats” will be the theme of the CPCTMN booth and the display is currently being developed by Linda Lourim. She would like assistance on the day of the event especially if you are knowledgeable about bats. Contact Terri Hurley at terri@coastalprairie.org for more information.
This is a big event and many environmental and other groups will be present. The popular Texas Snakes & More returns with snake shows at 2:15 pm and 4:00 pm. Andy Roo and the Andyrooniverse will have live performances at 1:15 pm and 3:15 pm. FB Master Naturalists, FB Master Gardeners, Nutty Scientist, NEO, Live It – Love It – Reuse It – Recycle It, and Republic Services Recycle Truck are just a few. Free secure paper shredding will be provided from 2 pm to 5 pm in the City Hall parking lot.
