VSP: Willow Fork Park Event “Runoff Pollution in Katy and How to Prevent It”

April 27, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am

Free

Runoff Pollution in Katy and How to Prevent It

Our chapter will show kids of all ages what happens to water during a storm as it runs off of our lawns, farms and businesses into our waterways. We have a fun enviroscape model where the kids produce the rainstorms themselves after “polluting” the land with pesticides, herbicides, and other chemicals.

The 1.5-hour program starts at 9 AM at the pavilion at Willow Fork Park (Located at the northwest corner of 99/Grand Parkway and Cinco Ranch Blvd., northeast of Cinco Ranch High School). This is a free family–friendly fun interactive program for all ages.

Contact Diane Russell if you would like to participate.
