Protecting Our Water, Air, and Habitat – AT

August 14 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Rapid development puts water quality, air quality, and wildlife
habitat at risk and Flower Mound residents can help protect the
natural environment. Learn about the Denton County Greenbelt Plan
which is working to preserve greenbelts, floodplain, and wetlands.
These valuable natural cleaners filter out pollutants, protecting water
quality and wildlife habitat which can increase property values for
nearby homes. Plan on spending some time with the class at the
pond at Heritage Park to see conservation in action and learn what
you can do.
Ages: 15 years and up
Location: CAC Pecan Room
Instructor: Blake Alldredge, Water Education Coordinator,
Upper Trinity Regional Water District
