Caddo National Grasslands Blackland Prairie Tour – AT

Join us for this hike to explore some Blackland Prairie flora at the Caddo National Grasslands east of Bonham. Located in Fannin Co., the grasslands encompass 17,873 acres. We will travel to the Ladonia unit. Jeff Quayle & Mary Curry are co-leading this prairie field trip. Both are well-known local botanists with extensive botanizing in Cooke, Denton, Fannin, Hood, Montague, & Wise counties.
Meet at 9am at the Tractor Supply in Bonham (2205 TX-121), just south of Highway 82. Gather in the parking lot closest to the highway. We will caravan from there to the grasslands. Bring snacks or a lunch and plenty of fluids and insect repellant.
