How to Help Pollinators – AT

June 19, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

We know how important pollinators, including bees, butterflies, and
wasps, are to our ecosystem. Pollinators are in decline for a variety
of reasons including pesticides, habitat destruction, and climate
change. This session will provide information on ways that Flower
Mound residents can protect pollinators, including how to switch
to non-toxic landscaping maintenance and using alternatives to
pesticides. In addition this session will cover how to start a pollinator
garden. Anyone with a small space can plant for bees and butterflies!
There will be a follow-up tour on Saturday, June 19, at Green Acres in
Flower Mound to visit a pollinator garden.
Ages: 15 years and up
Location: CAC Pecan Room
