MULCH-A-PALOOZZA!

August 24, 2019 @ 7:00 am - 11:00 am

Calling for Volunteers!  Support the Mayor’s Monarch Pledge and watch the garden grow!

We’re getting the garden in shape for the monarch fall migration!  The City of Carrollton Parks and Recreation Department are providing 200 bags of mulch for use at the MonarchWatch.org #19789 Waystation found on the Friends of Furneaux Creek Nature Trail.

We need volunteer help to move and spread the mulch.  (Perhaps we’ll cool down with some water balloons and super soakers, too!)

Park at or near Branch Hollow Park, then walk north on Arbor Creek Dr.  The Monarch Waystation is located on the Nature Trail near the Kiosk, between Branch Hollow Park and Hebron Parkway.

Bring your gloves and/or wheelbarrow (and super soaker?), if you have them!

Remember!!   Dress for Texas heat, hydrate, and use sunscreen.
