Presented by Becca Mathews, Director of Education
Technology may seem like an imposing force on our society, something that kids need less of. But with the right tools, it can be an excellent way to help teach. Learn about some of Becca’s favorite smartphone apps to use in the field with kids; uniting their natural curiosity in the outdoors while tapping into their love of technology. Whether on a hike in the woods, or the school playground, these apps are sure to create teachable moments. Lastly, learn how to apply the use of these apps in scavenger hunts, community science projects, BioBlitzes and more!
