The annual kickoff promotes the conservation of bluebirds and teaches the public how to attract and provide quality habitat for bluebirds across Texas. Come out to the Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area (LLELA) to work on prairie restoration, wildscape, and facilities projects. Depending on the weather, projects may include nursery work such as seed harvesting or potting and plant rescue or replanting; maintenance of hiking trails; or removal of exotic species.  Dress in layers and bring your work gloves, insect protection, and a bottle of water.
