VOL – Fishing Line Cleanup

Thanks to the efforts of everyone who has collected fishing line from our tubes and removed fishing from the ground at Texas City Dike, we have currently an abundance of line to clean.  We will be meeting at Carbide Park on June 14 from 9:00 am till Noon to clean and prepare this fishing line for recycling.

We will meet behind the Carbide Park building at the north end where the sinks are located.  We will provide tools but please feel free to bring gloves, scissors or other tools to help cut the fishing line loose from the entangled debris.
