VOL – Stormwater Wetlands Restoration

January 16, 2020: Will be our first “Third Wednesday Workday” at GCBO wetland nursery of the year 2020. We will be weeding around the weed cloth and tanks. Also we will start selecting plants to bring to Exploration Green for our first planting events of 2020 starting February 15th. We will continue to separate pots of Iris sp. and clean up the ponds. We will find things to do rain or shine. There is a covered pavilion to work under the weather is not an issue.

The wetland nursery at Gulf Coast Bird Observatory is located at 299 TX Highway 332, Lake Jackson, TX 77566. From the parking lot by the new building, take a short walk down the road and you will see the nursery to the right.
